Overview
A marketing business analyst is responsible for strategizing marketing techniques and promotional content to create brand awareness across various media platforms. They evaluate current industry trends to identify business opportunities that generate revenue and pave the way for new partnerships. They also conduct data analysis of sales reports, adjusting objectives as needed to support clients requirements and deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Work with end users to analyse structure and flow of work, recommend and evaluate changes to improve operations.
- Proactively manage, track and analyse web design and development proposal process.
- Provide analysis for the channel and help implement and develop annual and long?term marketing and communication programs.
- Analyse channel potential by region and capture a clear picture of the business and provide suggestions for improvements.
- Develop and utilise clear metrics that define optimal levels of functionality, sustainability and compliance to verify deliverable quality.
- Manage supplier contracts and deliverables to produce highest quality output for lowest cost.
- Develop and execute new, innovative and optimal deployment methods.
- Provide analytical support to PR and communications teams during major events.
- Manage requests from stakeholders, evaluate problems and translate business user questions into actionable guidelines for technical/analytics teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business, Marketing, or Administration.
- 2+ years market research or multi?channel marketing experience.
- Strong data skills comfortable analysing large data sets to create summaries, develop models and extract insights.
- Experience with online advertising platforms such as AdWords, Facebook and DoubleClick is a plus.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self?motivated, excellent problem?solving skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast?paced environment.
