Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Assistant to join our team in Charleston, South Carolina. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, ideal for someone passionate about event coordination, marketing, and building strong community relationships. You will play a vital role in organizing impactful events, managing online platforms, and enhancing brand awareness for our organization. This organization is looking for somehow to help generate new ideas to cast a wider net and reach a larger audience for their marketing and event planning initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute both short-term and long-term event strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
• Identify and establish partnerships with local sponsors to support event initiatives.
• Create engaging content and regularly update social media platforms, online calendars, and promotional materials.
• Deliver live presentations on social media platforms, effectively communicating event details and dealership information.
• Develop event budgets and objectives, ensuring all activities align with approved plans.
• Monitor and expand the audience for events through targeted promotion and outreach.
• Oversee all aspects of the event department, including sales, planning, marketing, and administrative functions.
• Collaborate with the General Manager and Marketing Director to design and implement effective marketing strategies.
• Ensure outstanding customer service and maintain clear and effective communication throughout all interactions.
• Analyze event data and performance to improve future strategies and outcomes.
• At least two years of experience in event planning and marketing.• Strong proficiency in social media management, content creation, and tools like Facebook Insights.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator and InDesign.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven ability to foster brand awareness and execute promotional campaigns.
• Experience with CRM systems and budget processes.
• Service-oriented approach with an entrepreneurial mindset.
