About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Communication to spearhead the development of a robust marketing and communications function. This role is pivotal in establishing the strategic foundation for brand growth, demand generation, and market positioning, particularly within technical or industrial sectors. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to design and implement a comprehensive B2B marketing strategy, with a focus on simplifying complex technical concepts and creating compelling, market-facing storytelling. Key responsibilities include building a scalable demand generation engine, aligning marketing efforts with sales and engineering teams, and serving as the expert on market intelligence to drive actionable strategy. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' B2B marketing experience, with a proven track record in leading marketing functions within technical or industrial sectors. The role requires the ability to develop high-level strategies while being hands-on in execution, as well as expertise in long, consultative sales cycles and high-value deal environments. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating complex technical or engineering concepts into business-driven narratives, and have experience in building and managing full-funnel demand generation systems. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills are essential, as is the ability to lead and mentor a high-performing team. Experience in industrial, chemical, or energy-related sectors, and a background in managing hybrid marketing structures, are preferred.
