Media Supervisor

The Media Supervisor should bring a sharp curiosity for news and a deep understanding of how stories move across print, broadcast, digital, and emerging platforms. The role supports earned media strategies, collaborating closely with clients and integrated teams. The candidate must pitch outlets and work directly with journalists, editors, producers, and use AI tools to find and tell stories that drive coverage.
Responsibilities
- Proactively lead day?to?day media strategy, supervising projects and junior team members, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Serve as the clients daily media contact, addressing issues and inquiries effectively.
- Use critical thinking within the evolving media landscape to inform programming and positioning, and proactively develop fresh story ideas to build client reputation and awareness.
- Lead reactive and proactive media projects from planning through execution, activation, and client reporting.
- Act as a strong team player and positive role model, support colleagues, clients, and partners, focus on self?improvement, and ensure work is based on strategic insights.
- Manage strengths and weaknesses of self and others; set and achieve ambitious goals.

Basic Qualifications
- At least 4 years of earned media experience with a proven interest in the field.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Research, write, and edit client-facing media deliverables and proposals (audits, backgrounders, reports, alerts, pitch emails, media lists, recap reports).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, as a team member and autonomously, and perform well under pressure.
- Experience with media events such as corporate milestones, product launches, deskside briefings, and executive interviews.
- Solid grasp of traditional and new media tools and their societal impact.
- Excellent storytelling skills, providing media counsel to internal and external clients.
Compensation & Benefits
Base pay: $68,000$96,000 per year, plus potential bonuses and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability insurance, paid time off, travel assistance, and wellness programs.
