Part-Time Videographer Job at 180 Your Marketing in Overland Park
180 Your Marketing, Overland Park, KS, United States, 66213
180 Your Marketing is a Kansas City–based creative agency specializing in branding, video, and social media for real estate professionals. Under our flagship brand, Modern Real Estate Marketing (MREM), we produce high-quality video content that helps agents and lenders build trust, attract clients, and grow their personal brands.
We’re looking for a part-time videographer (20-30 hours a week), who enjoys working with people on camera, has an eye for storytelling, and understands how to capture professional-quality video. This role focuses on filming clients — not properties — and will include both in-studio sessions and on-location shoots around Kansas City. This is an opportunity to join a growing agency where creativity, collaboration, and speed matter. The right person will grow with us into a full-time creative role as we expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Film clients in our in-house studio for personal branding, educational, and marketing videos.
- Record podcasts in our studio (video + audio).
- Capture on-location content such as community features, interviews, and business spotlights.
- Set up lighting, camera angles, and sound to ensure professional quality.
- Collaborate with our creative team to plan and execute shoots that align with each client’s brand and message.
- Organize and manage footage for handoff to editors or clients.
- Maintain studio equipment and assist with setup, teardown, and gear prep.
- Bring creative ideas to the table for framing, composition, and storytelling.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of camera settings, framing, composition, lighting, and audio.
- Experience filming with DSLR or mirrorless cameras (Sony, Canon, or similar).
- Ability to work confidently with clients on camera in both one-on-one and small-group settings.
- Strong attention to detail and creative eye for visual storytelling.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel for on-location shoots.
- Positive attitude, professional presence, and strong communication skills.
- A college degree is not required.
