YouTube Partner Operations Manager, Creator (Fixed-Term Contract)

This is a 12 month fixed-term contract opportunity. This role may be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus. Applicants in Los Angeles County will be considered under the Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; 2 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role; experience in project/program management or developing solutions within the Technology or Media industry.

Preferred qualifications: Experience with data analysis (SQL, spreadsheets), evaluating campaign and channel performance; ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects and drive them to completion with high attention to detail; ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate technical concepts effectively; excellent communication, presentation, planning, and time management skills.

About the Job

As a member of the Partner Operations team, you’ll analyze top issues facing our content creators, work with cross-functional teams to resolve them, and help manage support operations. You’ll engage with creators, surface problems to technical teams, drive analytical insights, and liaise with vendors to provide stellar support, driving reach, satisfaction, and resolution to enhance the YouTube user experience.

As a Partner Operations Manager, you will provide YouTube support to creators and companies across our Creator, Creator 3rd party, Gaming and Shopping verticals. You will become a YouTube product expert, troubleshoot day-to-day issues, identify common partner challenges, and advocate on behalf of partners to cross-functional teams to drive product solutions and process improvements. You will work closely with other partner-facing teams to deliver value-added services that increase partner happiness and growth.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $89,000-$127,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, pay is influenced by work location and factors including skills, experience, and education or training. Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for partners on the YouTube platform via email and video communication while managing support issues (cases) through a queue.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues to maximize partner performance on the platform and serve as a consultant to internal, cross-functional stakeholders on the YouTube product.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Partner Managers (SPMs) and Partner Engineers on accounts, in-depth search, business reviews, and insight sharing for partner growth.
  • Analyze key metrics using quantitative and qualitative methods to generate actionable insights while identifying opportunities for operational workflow and process improvements.
  • Contribute to Partner Operations for YouTube through innovation, efficiency gains, and root cause analysis, streamlining the operational workflow by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks.
