Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of technical troubleshooting or technical customer support operations experience.
- Experience using SQL for data analysis.
Preferred qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Applied Science.
- Experience in music publishing or a related industry.
- Ability to dig into technical details and collaborate with engineering, product teams on tool implementations.
- Ability to draw insights from data, recommend actions, and manage cross‑group initiatives.
- Ability to drive process improvements, outline risks, and articulate trade‑offs.
About the job
As a member of the Partner Operations team, you'll analyze top issues facing content creators, work cross‑functionally to resolve them, and manage support operations. You will provide YouTube support to large music partners, become a product expert, solve day‑to‑day issues, and identify common trends. You will advocate for partners to cross‑functional teams to drive product solutions and process improvements.
Salary: $89,000–$127,000 base, plus bonus, equity and benefits. Salary determined by role, level and location.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational support to managed music publishing partners via email and video call, managing and analyzing datasets, reconciling reporting discrepancies.
- Act as a solutions consultant to cross‑functional stakeholders, working with Partner Managers and Technical Field Engineers to solve partner issues and develop business plans.
- Identify, establish and leverage key metrics to evaluate data and drive decisions that advance YouTube’s interests.
- Contribute to scaling Creator Success Operations through innovation and root cause analysis.
- Answer product or data inquiries, onboard new partners, and educate them on YouTube products.
