Responsibilities

  • Provides high-quality educational videos for faculty, staff, students, and guest speakers, including production, editing, and uploading of video content.
  • Creates animations for video projects and coordinates pre-production schedules.
  • Produces, directs, and edits projects for the video and media department.
  • Promotes collaborative projects and works within defined standard operating procedures to maintain quality guidelines.
  • Performs other reasonable related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse student body.
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work flexible hours.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; skills in audio/video production (writing, producing, shooting, and editing).

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Analytical, technical, and operational process familiarity; ability to work within established procedures and guidelines.

Physical Abilities

The work is sedentary with occasional walking, standing, bending, or carrying light items. No special physical demands are required.

Work Schedule And Conditions

  • Equipment includes PC workstation in a Windows environment, calculator, phone, and general office equipment.
  • Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal safety hazards; some events may be outdoors and require transporting equipment.
  • Some evening and weekend work is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly pay rate: $16.33.
