Kingsley Manor – Sales & Marketing – Director Mon - Fri: 8:00 - 5:00

The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for driving sales to meet and exceed the monthly objectives for move-ins and net gains necessary to achieve optional occupancy rates through the use of strategic traditional and non‑traditional marketing and sales activities that ensure monthly objectives for move-ins and net gains are met.

Responsibilities

Manages all aspects of the Sales and Marketing Department, including but not limited to department budgets, sales activity goals, sales pipeline and funnel, prospect relations, and marketing plans.

Leads the Sales and Marketing teams by example through training, coaching, team building, goal setting, while creating positive and lasting relationships within the local community and surrounding areas to promote sales referrals.

Works closely with the Executive Director and VP of Sales and Marketing in the development and implementation of the annual marketing plan.

Executes the marketing plan at the local level to ensure events, advertising, promotional and public relations and community relations opportunities are activated.

Creates, plans and implements internal and external events (with local Sales and Marketing staff and outside organizations) designed to bring in prospective residents, current leads and key influencers. Some events include internal and external seminars and speakers, themed events, family nights etc., through coordination with other Community departments and key staff members to successfully execute on and off‑site marketing events.

Responsible for the professional handling of all incoming inquiries. Manages the sales process from first inquiry to receipt of deposit to move‑in in relation to the representation, negotiation and promotion of the Community to that individual.

Works with the prospective resident, family members, and key influencers (physician, attorney, trust officer, etc., as appropriate), both to generate leads and to facilitate a timely and beneficial commitment to the Community. This includes frequent personal contact with the prospective resident including but not limited to telephone calls, home or office visits, events, seminars, and tours as appropriate.

Oversees move‑in coordination, communicating any special needs of the incoming resident to the appropriate personnel and works closely with Environmental Services and Maintenance departments as accommodations get prepared for new residents.

Maintains accommodation inventory and tracks accommodation occupancy and fee changes in accordance with the Community budget/strategic plan and regularly reviews market rates with Executive Director to maintain competitiveness.

Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the distinctions and advantages of the Community and the resident agreements, coupled with the ability to anticipate and address prospective residents’ questions, concerns and issues.

Maintains up to date knowledge regarding relevant operational, competitive, and other company information, in order to respond effectively to inquiries from contacts and convey community message.

Keeps Executive Director informed of all sales activity on a regular basis and develops a relationship that drives the growth of the Community.

Oversees accuracy of lead records and data in CRM.

Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education or Equivalent Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business.

Associates Degree/Two years of College plus Two years of related work experience, or Four years of related work experience.

Essential Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in Senior living, senior housing, hospitality, geriatric experience, or other related healthcare environment sales experience.

Preferred Experience

1 year of experience with CRM systems and metrics.
