UX Researcher – Jobs via Dice Apply today for a 12‑month contract at a rate of $50–$55 per hour. The position is based in Chicago, IL and is a hybrid workspace. Portfolio and background check required.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

Lead end‑to‑end research initiatives including usability testing, surveys, nomenclature studies, and other methods.

Apply both qualitative and quantitative techniques to uncover insights that influence product strategy.

Develop and execute research plans that address team questions and project goals.

Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable findings for cross‑functional teams (design, product, content across U.S. and CA markets).

Communicate findings effectively across all levels, including executive stakeholders.

Champion inclusive and transparent research processes and foster team alignment.

6+ years of UX research experience, preferably across multiple industries (banking preferred).

Strong quantitative research skills (survey design, data analysis, interpretation).

Proven experience with usability testing and applying design principles.

Organized, comfortable navigating ambiguity, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Collaborative mindset—eager and confident to share work in progress and receive feedback.

Job Type & Location Contract position based in Chicago, IL.

Pay & Benefits Rate: $50.00–$55.00 per hour.
