Architectural Designer (3-5 Years Experience)
Studio BANAA is seeking a creative and technically capable Architectural Designer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience—ideally in commercial interiors or hospitality-focused work. The role is full‑time and requires candidates to be based in the San Francisco Bay Area due to local project needs, site visits, and consultant coordination.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in an architectural firm, preferably with a focus on hospitality or commercial interiors
Masters Degree from an accredited university is required
Proficiency in Revit and SketchUp is required
Ability to produce drawing sets independently and collaborate with a small team
Strong hand sketching ability; experience with digital sketching (e.g., on iPad) is a plus
Comfortable working independently and communicating effectively in a remote setting
Responsibilities
Contribute to all phases of project development, from conceptual design and space planning through construction documentation and permitting
Work directly with clients, consultants, and contractors
Participate in internal design reviews and brainstorming sessions
Help develop thoughtful, well‑detailed designs for spaces that are both beautiful and functional
