Under the supervision of the Deputy Chief of Communications and Marketing, this position will develop and manage strategic marketing programs to advance awareness and utilization of specific CHA agency programs and services, and development of content for publication. This position will supervise the Graphic Designer, Photographer/Videographer and Marketing Coordinator.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement effective and successful strategic marketing plans with specific objectives, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration with department heads
Lead the content team, made up of the Graphic Designer, Photographer/Videographer and Marketing Coordinator to produce and disseminate a wide range of marketing materials, including print, social media, email marketing and digital campaigns
Oversee CHA’s social media accounts including Facebook, X, Instagram, and YouTube.
Drive CHA branding in the field, including the CHAmps Monitor network, and new signage at construction sites and in existing CHA properties to maintain CHA brand integrity
Oversee and approve the creation of marketing materials from website banners to hard copy brochures and promotional items. Ensure CHA brand consistency across products.
Act as the liaison between the Communications and Human Resources teams to co‑lead internal communications efforts, including internal email newsletters, all‑staff meetings, and other efforts.
Measure and evaluate the success and performance of various marketing campaigns and strategies to ensure a data‑driven approach and implement recommendations for any improvements.
Performs all other duties and projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations or related field, and at least five (5) years of experience in Marketing and Communications. Additionally, this position requires a minimum of 2 years managing staff. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a working knowledge and past experience in publishing with print and digital print. Must possess experience with brand building and brand management. Demonstrates proficiency in internet marketing techniques, technologies, and solutions. A creative thinker with a keen understanding of current and emerging marketing trends.
