Position Summary The Sam’s Club Marketing team is growing — and we’re looking for a Program Manager to join the Office of the Chief Marketing Officer. This role offers a front-row seat to the most exciting marketing transformation in retail. You’ll work directly with the CMO and his senior leadership team — helping shape, organize, and tell the stories behind the strategies driving Sam’s Club’s challenger brand momentum. If you’re curious, creative, highly organized, and hungry to learn from the inside out, this is your launchpad.
What you’ll do
Partner with the CMO, Chief of Staff, and Marketing leadership team to prepare presentations and narratives for key strategy, finance, and executive meetings.
Gather inputs and data from across the Marketing organization and synthesize them into clear, compelling, and visually engaging stories.
Craft compelling, visually-driven presentations that engage and inspire — often in PowerPoint, but always beyond the expected.
Support the coordination, organization, and communication of key initiatives within the Marketing practice.
What you’ll bring
A strong general understanding of marketing concepts and organizational dynamics.
Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, especially in PowerPoint — turning complex data and ideas into simple, persuasive narratives.
Strong analytical and synthesis skills — you can see the signal in the noise.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills — with the ability to manage multiple priorities and keep cross‑functional teams aligned.
A proactive, can‑do attitude and a desire to learn from senior leaders in a fast‑paced environment.
Why this role matters Sam’s Club Marketing is in the middle of a bold evolution — building a modern, member‑first marketing engine that moves at the speed of culture. This Program Manager role is your chance to be at the center of that movement, gaining exposure to the full breadth of strategy, planning, storytelling, and execution that drive one of retail’s most dynamic brands. For the right person, this is a career-defining opportunity — a lily pad role that offers unparalleled access, mentorship, and learning for anyone aspiring to grow into marketing, strategy, or leadership roles in the future.
