The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences Position Overview

The department is seeking an Oculoplastics Surgeon to join the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at OSU Wexner Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for patient care, research, and education in Oculoplastics. Duties and Responsibilities

Provide full range of clinical, research, and educational responsibilities in Oculoplastics. Collaborate with faculty and trainees in teaching and training medical students, residents, fellows, graduate and post‑doctoral students. Engage in research, quality improvement initiatives, curriculum development, and educational initiatives consistent with the faculty assignment. Serve on departmental, divisional and college committee functions. Maintain service commitments at the OSUWMC facilities and other clinical sites assigned to the role. Requirements

U.S. citizenship is required. Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Ophthalmology by appointment and eligible for licensure in Ohio. MD or DO with completion of Ophthalmology residency and ASOPRS‑approved fellowship or ASOPRS membership with additional training in Oculoplastics. Academic rank and salary commensurate with experience and academic credentials. Knowledge and proficiency in medical and surgical management of Oculoplastics. Demonstrated interest in scholarship and discovery (evidence of research and publications). Commitment to teaching residents, fellows and medical students. How to Apply
