Job Summary/Basic Function The Student Graphic Designer supports the College of Arts & Humanities by creating visual materials that promote college programs, events, and initiatives across all departments. This position offers hands‑on experience in creative design and branding through the development of visual materials for events and initiatives throughout the College of Arts & Humanities.
Responsibilities
Design print and digital materials including posters, flyers, social media graphics, brochures, banners, and event programs.
Collaborate with the college’s marketing and communications team to develop visual content that aligns with college branding and messaging.
Prepare files for both print and digital production.
Support promotional efforts for college‑wide events, lectures, exhibitions, and performances.
Manage multiple projects while meeting established deadlines.
Required Qualifications
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
Strong visual design and typography skills.
Attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Experience with photography, video editing, or web design is a plus.

Visual Acuity Requirements Includes color, depth perception, and field of vision. Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
The conditions the worker will be subject to in this position None. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
