Job Description:
Our architecture/engineering services client is currently seeking to hire a Plumbing Designer. The Plumbing Designer supports the mechanical/plumbing department in meeting its project responsibilities, schedules and goals. The position will collaborate with MEP department staff during the design and documentation of plumbing systems and will coordinate plumbing design with all other disciplines so that the design is coordinated internally as well as with external clients.

Job Description:

The Plumbing Designer supports the mechanical/plumbing department in meeting its project responsibilities, schedules and goals. The position will collaborate with MEP department staff during the design and documentation of plumbing systems and will coordinate plumbing design with all other disciplines so that the design is coordinated internally as well as with external clients.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Help our clients customers achieve their goals.
- Work with plumbing engineers and project managers to meet company goals and objectives.
- Support plumbing engineering projects under the supervision of plumbing engineers and other MEP staff.
- Maintain a general knowledge of architectural, structural, civil, electrical, fire protection and telecom building systems; coordinate these systems with the plumbing design.
- Prepare plumbing design and construction documents in Revit, per applicable standards.
- Prepare documents in conformance with company standards and quality control requirements.
- Assist with the preparation of plumbing engineering design studies, design narratives, calculations, and analysis.
- Assist with the preparation of design documents as required for all phases of design (concept, schematic, design development, construction documents).
