Duration: 6+ months
Location: Hybrid in Santa Clara, CA

Job Description:
This is not an administration or configuration role; it is pure custom development. You will design and code scoped applications, advanced Service Portal widgets, UI Builder components, REST integrations, and automation flow at scale.

What We're Looking For:
We need senior-level developers who can:

• Build custom scoped applications using App Engine Studio and ServiceNow scripting.
• Develop Service Portal widgets and UI Builder components with reusable, scalable design.
• Implement REST API integrations and leverage Flow Designer for automation.
• Work with Now Assist (ServiceNow's AI capabilities) or ramp up quickly.
• Write complex JavaScript on demand, including advanced patterns for performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and optimize code for Internet-facing apps at scale.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 12+ years ServiceNow development experience (custom development, not admin/config).
• Strong experience with:
  • Custom Scoped App development
  • Service Portal & UI Builder (custom widgets/components)
  • REST API integrations & Flow Designer automation
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), AngularJS, and React.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and performance considerations.
• Hands-on experience with development tools (IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances).

Nice-to-Have:

• ServiceNow CAD certification.
• Experience with Now Assist and AI-driven features.
