As a Public Relations & Communications Assistant, you'll support our PR, outreach, and campaign teams through event-based communication and community engagement work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with campaign planning, event coordination, and communication tasks
- Represent nonprofit clients during community events, fundraisers, and public activations
- Help prepare press kits, outreach materials, and general communication content
- Interact with attendees, donors, volunteers, and media contacts
- Collect engagement metrics and event insights
- Contribute creative ideas to strengthen messaging and community impact
- Paid training in PR, communications, events, and nonprofit engagement
- Exposure to well-known nonprofit campaigns and community initiatives
