As a Public Relations & Communications Assistant, you'll support our PR, outreach, and campaign teams through event-based communication and community engagement work.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with campaign planning, event coordination, and communication tasks Represent nonprofit clients during community events, fundraisers, and public activations Help prepare press kits, outreach materials, and general communication content Interact with attendees, donors, volunteers, and media contacts Collect engagement metrics and event insights Contribute creative ideas to strengthen messaging and community impact What You'll Gain Paid training in PR, communications, events, and nonprofit engagement Exposure to well-known nonprofit campaigns and community initiatives Fast advancement opportunities (coordination, team leadership, PR support roles) Supportive, collaborative work environment Real-world experience making an impact while developing communication skills Who Thrives in This Role
