Position Overview

In partnership with the Visual Merchandising Manager, the Visual Merchandising Lead will support the creative process for monthly and weekly visual directives for retail stores including seasonal launches, new product launches, and weekly merchandising and marketing updates. The Visual Merchandising Specialist will manage the department calendar to ensure all deadlines are met. Our ideal candidate will catalog department prototypes and samples and maintain an organized mock store.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Visual New Store Opening Specialist in the creation and roll out of Retail and Wholesale Training Manuals
  • Organize the department calendar to align display development and mock store process to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Act as the gatekeeper of information for department projects and timelines to ensure they link up with the department’s “go to market” calendar
  • Support the Visual Merchandising Manager in the creation of presentations for product launches and releases. This includes the development of presentations in the mock store and the creation of visual directives
  • Based on retail direction, create visual presentations and directives for each of our wholesale shop in shops in partnership with the wholesale team
  • Partner with retail operations department to provide weekly visual communication to store teams through directives; including marketing, merchandising, and training information
  • Support retail stores in visual execution by providing feedback with all launches and releases via conference calls and e‑mails
  • Responsible for maintaining the professional appearance and organization of the mock store and visual samples
  • Participate in weekly cross‑functional meetings
  • Support a team of creatives by being the operational backbone for the department by maintaining a project timeline calendar for all tasks
  • Conduct research on current and future trends in visual merchandising and marketing displays
  • Maintain awareness of trends, styles, materials and technology relative to the competition to share with team members for further ideation and implementation

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Visual Merchandiser for a high‑growth company
  • A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery and reprioritize based on evolving business needs
  • Proficiency on Mac platform, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to understand our core customer and how to capture their emotional connection with our brand through visual merchandising and display
  • A strong ability to build cross‑functional partnerships and work collaboratively
  • A growth mindset: desire to learn, grow and embrace new ideas
