Senior UX Designer Job at WireScreen in New York

WireScreen is a fast‑growing Series A startup building the go‑to intelligence platform for navigating global supply chains and China‑related risk. Backed by Sequoia Capital, we already have traction with top‑tier government customers and are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our New York team. You’ll work cross‑functionally with Engineering, Product, and Research to shape the design for our flagship product.

What You’ll Do

• Lead design projects from discovery through delivery: user research, flows, wireframes, high‑fidelity UI and design QA.
• Collaborate daily with product managers and front‑end engineers in New York.
• Shape and extend our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across features.
• Conduct user interviews and usability testing to inform product decisions.
• Turn complex data and workflows into intuitive, elegant experiences.
• Mentor and collaborate with teammates on design best practices.

You Should Apply If You Have

• 6+ years of professional UX/UI design experience, including at least one early‑stage startup where you were the sole designer.
• Experience designing a complex system for B2B/Prosumer/Expert users.
• Have shipped at least one project from discovery to delivery.
• Excellent visual design skills.
• Experience working with data from a design perspective.
• High fluency in Figma.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with platforms and challenges similar to WireScreen.
• 8+ years of experience.
