Base Pay Range $110,000 – $125,000 per year
We are looking for an experienced Account Director to lead innovative PR campaigns in the financial services, fintech, and technology sectors. The role focuses on B2B tech and FinTech accounts, building and managing B2B media relationships, and delivering measurable results.
The Role
Focused on B2B tech and FinTech accounts (strong understanding of the pipelines and plumbing of B2B)
Enjoys media relations and doesn’t see it as something to age out of
Demonstrates an expert understanding of PR and your clients’ business, industry, and competitive environment in financial services and fintech – and uses this to make decisions and recommendations about PR strategy
Play an active role in media relations alongside managing a team on media execution
Establish and maintain strong relationships with relevant B2B/Financial Services journalists, editors, and key stakeholders
Deliver exceptional media results
Craft and implement media strategies to enhance visibility and reputation for B2B clients across financial services and fintech
Lead media campaigns from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with client goals and KPIs
Write and distribute press releases, pitches, and media kits that align with clients’ messaging
Passionate about media relations
Demonstrated understanding and experience in financial services
A strong proven track record of securing coverage in B2B media outlets
Ability to cultivate strong, lasting relationships with media contacts
Strong analytical and written skills
Strong interest in current affairs within key markets (technology, fintech, and other B2B adjacencies)
