Hormel Foods invites you to apply for the Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Manager role, focused on optimizing sales across Instacart and other digital platforms.
Base pay range: $104,600.00/yr - $146,500.00/yr
Responsibilities
Drive omnichannel sales on Instacart for key verticals such as Snacking & Entertaining, Convenient Meals & Protein, Global Flavors, Bacon, and Value-Added Meats.
Lead omnichannel insights to build shopper‑centric programs within budget constraints.
Implement and execute digital marketing plans for assigned brands.
Collaborate with broker partners, sales strategy, and marketing teams to identify incremental sales opportunities and increase consumer loyalty.
Research emerging platforms and provide investment recommendations by brand.
Manage all aspects of the Instacart business, setting quarterly, six‑month, and annual objectives to meet or exceed volume, share, promotion, logistics, and profit targets.
Administer procurement controls, PO management, and invoice reconciliation for Instacart and other channels.
Negotiate cost offers, retail price points, and promotional plans to deliver topline results.
Build relationships with customer senior management and cross‑functional teams.
Participate in learning workshops and regional/national meetings to improve selling techniques.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or sales strategy.
Experience managing budgets and external agency/vendor partners.
Ability to create a marketing plan to reach a desired shopper group.
Strong leadership, prioritization, delegation, and decision‑making skills.
Strong negotiation, persuasion, and influence capabilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated initiative and strategic risk‑taking.
U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or authorization to work in the U.S.
No future visa sponsorship required.
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years in sales, marketing, or sales strategy.
eCommerce sales experience, especially on Instacart.
Understanding of retailer marketing landscape and digital concepts.
Strong analytical and technical aptitude.
Location Flexible locations: Austin, MN; Bedminster, NJ; preferred location: Chicago, IL.
