Lifecycle Marketing Manager Duration:

About the Role The Sage Group’s client, a rapidly growing AI company is seeking an experienced contract Lifecycle Marketing Manager to design and build comprehensive email marketing programs throughout the full customer lifecycle, including nurture, onboarding, retention, and upsell/cross-sell campaigns. This role will own execution of customer-facing communications tied to product launches, feature announcements, customer events, and various marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute email programs that drive customer engagement throughout the lifecycle stages.
Own customer communications for product launches, feature updates, events, and marketing programs.
Run demand generation campaigns for webinars and events, optimizing registrations, attendance, and follow-up nurture sequences.
Partner closely with Customer Success, Product, and Go-to-Market teams to align lifecycle programs with adoption, engagement, and expansion goals.
Collaborate with Product Marketing and Demand Generation teams to ensure campaign alignment with pipeline objectives and GTM priorities.
Implement segmentation and personalization strategies to boost engagement, conversion rates, and customer retention.
Track and analyze campaign performance, reporting on impact to marketing goals and tying email and website metrics to pipeline, Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), and customer health.
Evaluate and recommend tools and external partners—including ESPs, customer engagement platforms, and agencies—to enhance and scale the lifecycle marketing engine.
Requirements
Experience designing and building out lifecycle function
Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing principles with a data-driven mindset.
Ability to manage complex projects in cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate marketing metrics into actionable insights.
Startup company experience
Exposure to Marketo and Salesforce
