Digital Advertising & Production Manager

The Digital Advertising & Production Manager is responsible for coordinating advertising operations and production workflows across North Coast Media’s B2B brands. This position manages the execution of both digital and print advertising campaigns, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery. The role requires strong technical and organizational skills, as well as the ability to collaborate across departments to meet client and publication goals.

This individual will serve as a key liaison between sales, marketing, editorial, design, and printing partners, providing exceptional service and ensuring seamless ad campaign fulfillment across all platforms.

Base pay range: $55,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Digital Advertising Operations

  • Oversee trafficking, pre-flighting, and scheduling of digital ad assets (display, native, video).
  • Conduct quality control checks across digital magazines, websites, and newsletters.
  • Advise advertisers and agencies on file specs, deadlines, and digital requirements.
  • Maintain a high standard of client communication and timely problem resolution.

Print & Production Management

  • Manage production schedules and workflows for assigned publications, ensuring deadlines and print quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • Collaborate with editorial, design, sales, and printers to produce each issue efficiently and on budget.
  • Approve proofs, check ad placements, and verify color, layout, and file integrity prior to publication.
  • Advise advertisers and agencies on file specs, deadlines, and publication requirements.
  • Pre-flight and review incoming ad materials, ensuring all assets meet production standards.

Administrative & Client Support

  • Enter and maintain advertising orders, billing data, and campaign records across multiple systems.
  • Prepare billing reports, adjustments, and reconciliations for each issue.

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in B2B publishing, advertising operations, or production services.
  • Strong understanding of digital and print advertising workflows.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; familiarity with ad servers such as Google Ad Manager preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro) a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a deadline-driven environment.
