Job Title: Technical Social Media & Digital Advertising Specialist
Reports To: Director of Operations

Scope of Position: We’re seeking a Technical Social Media & Digital Advertising Specialist to manage, optimise, and execute our client’s online marketing and advertising strategies. This role blends creative social media management with strong technical skills in paid campaign management and analytics. You’ll handle scheduling, performance analysis, and digital ad optimisation to grow our client’s audiences and strengthen their brand presence across all digital channels.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and publish social media posts across all channels using Sprout Social or similar tools.
  • Develop, launch, and manage paid campaigns across social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.).
  • Plan, execute, and optimise Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, YouTube) to drive targeted traffic and conversions.
  • Conduct keyword research, A/B testing, and performance tracking for all paid campaigns.
  • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to ensure ad messaging and visuals are consistent and effective.
  • Monitor campaign budgets, adjust bids, and improve performance based on analytics and KPIs.
  • Use tools such as Google Analytics, Sprout Social Insights, and Google Ads dashboards to track and report performance metrics.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve ROI and audience engagement.
  • Stay current on trends, algorithm changes, and best practices across both social and search platforms.

Qualifications

  • Hands‑on experience managing Google Ads and social media ad campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting marketing data and KPIs.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and related tools.
  • Excellent written communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of design or content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut) is a plus. Google Ads certification preferred but not required.
