We are looking for a proactive Germany‑based Publisher Acquisition Manager to continue affiliating publishers for the EMEA region (German market).
What You’ll Do:
- Work with HODs, Account Management, and other corresponding teams.
- Deal with all types of publishers (with focus on Premium) to close potential partnerships.
- Sell to Premium Publishers like T1, T2 and Editorial Publishers.
- Complete daily tasks such as calling potential publishers, conducting online and offline meetings, emailing, HubSpot updation, informing internally on help required to close deals and keeping in touch with closed partners to maintain long‑term relationships.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
- Perform as per the KPI assigned on a periodic basis.
- Use our product strengths and specifics to create custom proposals of solutions for clients and publishers.
- Apply knowledge of client attraction and retention strategies.
- Monitor market changes and proactively inform the team leader on any business, competitor, or partner news and other circumstances (e.g., global/regional demand/CPC drop) that can affect publisher revenue.
- Develop and maintain close and effective relationships with both existing and potential new clients in the region, as well as different types of AdTech related entities.
- Organize working processes with clients to maximize revenue and minimize losses for the company.
- Perform lead generation activities using tools such as Similar Web, Red Volcano, Alexa, Publicwww, etc., and create a pipeline of priority websites for different client tiers.
- Evaluate priority ad placement, rates, and formats of ads considering website layout for all tier types.
- Create necessary documents: presentations, financial and business proposals (approved by team leader), commercial offer letters, and non‑exclusive agreements on revenue‑share basis.
- Facilitate idea generation of new ad types and formats/features that can be interesting to the local Internet advertising market and share competitor formats.
- Represent the company at industry events, target and attend conferences to sign new partners or solidify existing relationships, and support other partnership activities as needed.
Requirements
Who you are:
- 5+ years of experience in publisher acquisition and development.
- Ability to ideate and innovate publisher acquisition strategies and adapt to market dynamics.
- Business development experience and a strong network within the native and publisher industry.
- Knowledge of various monetization opportunities for publishers, revenue models, market understanding, competition mapping, native advertising technology and its possibilities and limitations.
- Experience with native players will be an added benefit.
- Experience working with publishers, content websites, media groups, app developers, tech companies and networks from Germany, with strong relationships in the publishing market.
- Familiarity with publishers’ strategy, business operations/models and their main challenges. Strong understanding of revenue generation strategies/action plans from the technology partner/vendor side and knowledge of the publisher ecosystem in the respective GEO.
- Knowledge of dedicated approaches on how to work with clients from appropriate categories and traffic sources.
- Fluent in English and native German.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Will be a plus
- Experience with AdTech/MarTech.
- Prior experience with any well‑known native platform, ad‑serving platforms, publisher alliance or programmatic monetization.
- Knowledge and experience with analytics platforms and tools.
