Social Media Marketing Manager – The Scholarship System
Base pay range: $40,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year, based on skills and experience. All positions are fully remote. The Scholarship System is committed to helping families graduate debt‑free by providing scholarships.
Role Overview The purpose of this role is to
own and grow The Scholarship System's social media presence , increasing reach, engagement, and conversions through strategic content and community management. You’ll create and manage digital content across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest), analyze performance, and continuously improve based on data.
Key Responsibilities
Create a comprehensive social media strategy to increase visibility, membership, and traffic across our brand.
Drive leads to our free webinar to increase sales.
Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities.
Monitor trends in social media and appropriately apply that knowledge.
Copywrite and visually create posts, stories, and reels.
Measure the impact of social media on overall marketing efforts.
Implement and optimize TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook strategy development and execution.
Support audience during live launches & promotions, primarily on social media outlets.
Reply to comments and inbox questions, providing relevant links.
Occasionally write email copy when it aligns with social content.
Manage all social media aspects for live launches (2–3 times per year) including post groups, manychat, broadcast, and channel coordination.
Set up Manychat automations (e.g., comment X and we send you the link).
Document processes in Asana and create SOPs for easy implementation.
Potential future project: use social media to launch a new podcast and grow listenership.
Success Metrics
Increase reach and engagement on social media by 20%+ within 6 months.
Consistent, high‑quality posting across all major platforms (ideally daily).
Increase community interaction (comments, DMs, Manychat engagement) by 10% within 6 months.
Clear weekly reporting on performance and insights.
On‑time, creative execution during launches to increase leads and conversions (KPIs set in the new year).

This position may be structured as either a 1099 contractor or W‑2 employee arrangement, depending on the candidate's location, experience level, and desired working relationship.
