Overview of the role You'll be part of the engine that turns ideas into ads people actually want to watch. As a member of our strategy team, you'll mix data, storytelling, and creative instinct to build campaigns that move the needle for our clients. One day you’ll be deep in ad performance dashboards, the next you’ll be writing hooks or brainstorming with our editors on how to make a video pop. You'll learn fast, experiment often, and collaborate closely with your Strategy Lead to turn insights into high‑performing creative that drives real results.
Responsibilities
Creating performance ads that will lead to client growth
Coming up with concepts & angles for new ads
Conducting quality research about the product, market and competitors
Creating briefs from scratch, scripting, visual briefs and direction for video editors
Communicating with clients on everything that is happening with their ads
Identifying best performers and critical concepts within accounts using data and creative analysis
Collaborating with production and post‑production about the shoots
Analyzing the results of your ads and troubleshooting bad performers
Communicating with your project managers about all creator shoots
Identifying trending social media concepts that can be utilised in ads
Required Skills And Qualifications
Fast learner with the ability to quickly pick up new tools, concepts, and creative approaches through hands‑on execution
Exceptional written and spoken communication – able to explain ideas, strategies, and insights clearly and convincingly
Strategic and analytical thinker who can interpret performance data and turn insights into actionable creative direction
Highly organized and detail‑oriented, capable of managing several projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast‑moving environment
Deep familiarity with social media culture and trends – actively engaged on at least one major platform (TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook)
Comfortable navigating Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail) for collaboration and project execution
Advanced spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets or Excel) are a strong plus
Thrives in a high‑energy, fast‑paced creative environment and stays adaptable as strategies evolve
Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience – preferred
Location New York, United States
Compensation Shown Media provides the wage ranges it reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for all remote roles and as otherwise required by applicable law. The expected range of starting pay for this role is $50,000 – $75,000 annually.
