Job Overview
The primary purpose of this role is to drive digital engagement and support fundraising initiatives through strategic marketing campaigns, compelling content creation, and cross‑channel communication. This position enhances alumni relations, amplifies USF’s brand voice, and delivers targeted messaging via email, social media, and web platforms.
Responsibilities
Create and schedule targeted email newsletter campaigns, including segmentation, personalization, and performance tracking.
Develop, execute, and optimize digital campaigns that support fundraising goals and alumni engagement.
Provide social media support with copywriting, content creation, and scheduling.
Assist the marketing team with execution of communication plans for micro events.
Keep fans and brand ambassadors (Digital Bulls) engaged with the latest USF news through social media, email, and other marketing channels.
Collaborate with designers, writers, and Advancement teams to produce compelling digital content aligned with USF’s brand and voice.
Craft clear, compelling copy for email, social, and other digital materials with strong attention to detail.
Assist the creative team with updating Advancement webpages and event landing pages to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compelling storytelling.
Provide on‑site assistance as needed for special campaigns and signature events.
Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with four years of direct experience. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital marketing, fundraising, or alumni engagement. • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other email marketing tools is preferred.
