PurpleLab PurpleLab is seeking a highly motivated Product Marketing Manager with 7-10 years of experience to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will be a strategic thought leader, crafting and executing comprehensive product marketing strategies that propel our innovative life sciences SaaS and data products to market success across both the clinical development and commercial landscapes. You will leverage your expertise in both life sciences and DaaS/SaaS to support launch initiatives, develop compelling messaging,
drive user adoption, and ultimately, achieve significant growth.
Responsibilities
I. Develop and Execute Strategic Product Marketing Plans:
Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify target audiences (clinicians, researchers, pharmaceutical companies)
for both clinical development and commercial operations of our life
sciences SaaS products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Sales,
Clinical, Research, Customer Success) to understand product roadmaps,
user needs, and competitive landscape.
Develop a comprehensive product marketing strategy that aligns with
overall business objectives, outlining key messaging, market
positioning, and support go-to-market initiatives for each audience
segment.
Define clear product messaging that effectively translates complex
scientific concepts into clear, concise, and compelling language tailored
to diverse audiences, with a focus on digital communication channels
commonly used in SaaS marketing (e.g., website, social media, email
marketing).
II. Drive User Adoption And Growth
Create and manage a variety of high-quality marketing materials
specifically designed for a DaaS and SaaS audience, including product
brochures, presentations, website content, case studies, and sales
enablement tools.
Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns across various
digital channels (e.g., search engine marketing, content marketing,
social media marketing) to drive user awareness, acquisition, and
engagement with our life sciences SaaS products.
Utilize SaaS marketing metrics and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce,
Hubspot, Google Analytics) to track campaign performance, measure
ROI, and identify areas for continuous improvement and optimization.
Foster strong relationships with customer champions, advocates,
industry leaders, or super users to generate positive word-of-mouth
and industry recognition for our DaaS/SaaS products within the life
sciences community.
III. Stay Ahead Of The Curve
Continuously monitor and analyze industry trends and regulations in
the life sciences and real-world data (RWD) space, ensuring all
marketing activities comply with relevant regulations.
Stay abreast of the evolving SaaS marketing landscape, including the
latest technologies, AI, best practices, and data-driven strategies for
driving product adoption and growth.
Qualifications
7-10 years of experience in product marketing, with at least 3 years
focused on successfully launching and marketing B2B SaaS products.
Proven track record of developing and executing data-driven marketing
strategies that have demonstrably increased user adoption and
revenue growth for SaaS products.
Strong understanding of the clinical development, commercialization
process, and regulatory considerations for life science products.
Deep understanding of real-world data (RWD) and its applications in
the life sciences industry, and the ability to leverage this knowledge to
develop compelling messaging that highlights the value proposition of
our SaaS solutions.
Excellent communication, technical writing, collaboration, and project
management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing
priorities and deadlines effectively.
Proficiency in marketing automation tools (6Sense, HubSpot,
ZoomInfo) and data analysis platforms commonly used in SaaS
marketing.
Experience developing and implementing marketing programs within
the life sciences industry.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements for developing and
commercializing pharmaceuticals, both branded and generic.
Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices, particularly
for SaaS products, including content marketing, search engine
optimization (SEO), and social media marketing.
