R0007414# SummaryBarry University School of Law seeks a Student Worker for Student Life and Event Planning. This is a part-time, temporary position that assists with the successful organization and implementation of law school events on and off campus.**This is an in-person position.**# Essential Functions* Assist the Director Student Life and Event Planning with the organization of events by gathering contact information for event attendees and assisting in the creation and distribution of event flyers invitations and certifications, keeping track of and confirming RSVP’s, and assisting in set-up for special events and day of activities.* Assist Director of Student Life and Event Planning with organization events and activities and compiling written materials as needed.# Qualifications/Requirements* Must be currently enrolled at Barry University School of Law as a 2L or 3L student.* Ability to project actions several steps in advance.* Detail-oriented and diligent in successful completion of tasks.* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.* Organized and ability to prioritize tasks.* Ability to assist with operation of A/V equipment.* Ability to communicate well and effectively with various groups of constituents.Benefits: Barry University offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees that includes health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, tuition assistance, paid time off and work/life balance initiatives such as wellness programs, spirituality in the workplace, and training and development.Barry University is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.Barry University is a private Catholic institution with a history of academic excellence.
