Why Oviva? At Oviva, we’re on a mission to make sustainable, personalised, clinically effective care accessible to everyone.
Our award‑winning digital programmes support people living with weight‑related conditions. While weight loss is a goal for many, our approach is about so much more: improving health, building confidence, and enhancing quality of life.
We’ve already supported over one million people across the UK, Switzerland, Germany, and Poland – and we’re just getting started. Every conversation, coaching session, and line of code brings us closer to a healthier future. Join us, and be part of the team making that future possible.
The Role We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Patient Experience Tribe. In this exciting role, you’ll play a key role in shaping two of our most important features within the Oviva app: the AI Coach and Learn content.
You’ll work in a product trio with PMs and Engineers, taking full ownership of design challenges from concept to delivery. Using research and data, you’ll craft thoughtful, accessible, and impactful user experiences that help our patients build lasting habits and better health outcomes.
Requirements
5+ years of experience designing mobile apps or digital products.
Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to drive user engagement and retention.
Skilled in UX research methods such as interviews, shadowing, and usability testing.
Confident in navigating complexity and ambiguity with a structured approach.
Excellent cross‑functional collaboration and communication skills, especially in product trios.
Proficient in Figma and common user research tools.
Speak English and German communicatively.
BA+ in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field.
Responsibilities
Lead the design of engaging, data‑informed user experiences for our AI Coach, in‑app content, Learn tab, and community features.
Own and manage the full design process – from research and concepting to prototyping and final delivery.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, Content, and Research.
Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitors to inform design decisions. This includes conducting user interviews and usability testing to ensure design decisions are grounded in real insights.
Champion design excellence through clear storytelling and presenting the design rationale to stakeholders, advocating for the user experience and the business goals.
Help maintain and evolve our design system.
The opportunity to make a meaningful impact in revolutionising healthcare.
Exciting and rewarding role in a high‑growth environment.
Training and development opportunities, with a personal learning allowance.
We embrace flexibility & remote working.
We provide a home working allowance to enable you to set up your workspace in a way which suits you.
Competitive salary and company pension.
Enhanced maternity, paternity & adoption leave.
Culture & Values We put the patient first, empower our teams, and make it happen.

We are a truly inclusive place to work, where everyone can be themselves and everyone is welcome.
