The
Media Sales Assistant
supports the Media Sales team in developing new sales opportunities for cultural organizations across frieze’s platforms. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Support the US-based advertising sales team with administrative duties related to advertising sales, including managing contact database & CRM, ad bookings, Mailchimp distribution lists, and invoice management. Ensure print and digital artwork delivery from advertisers. Create and update client e-mailers and promotional materials to support the media sales team. Prepare post-campaign reports for clients, primarily focusing on digital analytics (web, newsletter, sponsored content productions, social media). Manage weekly and annual sales reports, monitoring the team’s progress against revenue targets. Manage promotions, media partnerships, and promotional events as needed. Support sales lead generation through research and initial outreach to advertising prospects, including global arts exhibitions, events, media/arts competitors, brand, and luxury advertisers. Assist the sales team with research and presentations for client proposals and RFPs. Please Note This is a permanent position. Working hours are on average 40 hours per week. Unsocial hours may be required based on business demands. Adapting to new systems and technology as appropriate. Knowledge and Experience Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines. Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Interest in the art world is essential. Knowledge of Mailchimp, Canva, Google Analytics, Adobe products. Ability to speak additional languages is a plus. Previous experience in advertising agencies or arts/media environments. Skills and Abilities Proficiency with Excel and Sugar CRM. Self-motivated and enthusiastic. Strong organizational skills and hardworking. Curious about art and culture, eager for new experiences. Team player.
