This recruitment is only open to current County of San Bernardino, Fire Department, or Special Districts employees who hold a regular, contract, extra-help, recurrent, Public Service Employee, Work Experience Program (WEX) or intern position.

are recruiting for
Supervising Social Workers
who oversee social workers engaged in providing a broad range of social services to individuals to enhance their capacity for social functioning.
Current vacancies exist in San Bernardino, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, and Victorville;
this list may also be used for other vacancies as they occur throughout the County. Experience:
Two (2) years of experience performing professional social work duties equivalent to a Social Worker II in San Bernardino County.
Education:
Thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of completed college coursework, half of which must be
upper division , in behavioral science, psychology, social work, sociology, human services, behavioral anthropology, gerontology, cultural and gender studies, or human development. Responsibilities and Qualifications: Experience as a social worker in an agency serving the elderly, adults with disabilities, children, and families. Experience providing supervision/training/mentoring. Experience on committees, work groups, or serving as a liaison coordinating services with other agencies, particularly in a leadership capacity.
