Overview
Position:
Marketing Sales Representative
Knoxville Center for Behavioral Medicine - a comprehensive inpatient behavioral health hospital. Our hospital will provide acute behavioral health care and outpatient treatment to adults and geriatric adults who are in crisis from severe symptoms related to behavioral health and/or substance use disorder.
The Marketing Sales Representative plays a key role in identifying, cultivating, and managing referral relationships and partnership opportunities in the behavioral health space.
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
2+ years of experience in healthcare marketing, or sales – behavioral health preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently.
Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Joint venture/Professional partnerships between NHC, Tennova and University of Tennessee - Knoxville
Responsibilities
Collaborate with hospital leadership and joint-venture partners to develop and strengthen community partnerships, expanding awareness of NHC Behavioral Health services across the local region and beyond.
Conduct outreach, follow-up meetings, and tours with referral sources, patients, and families.
Clearly communicate levels of care and programming (adult, geriatric, dual-diagnosis, crisis stabilization, outpatient step-down programs).
Guide patients and families toward appropriate treatment, addressing concerns and removing barriers to admission.
Partner with admissions, clinical, and medical staff to ensure smooth referral-to-admission transitions.
