About Us We’re a Las Vegas-based
manufacturing and construction firm
specializing in theatrical rigging and automation systems. Our projects power live entertainment venues across the U.S.—and we’re growing. We're looking for a
seasoned Mechanical Designer / Drafter
to support our engineering team with high-quality fabrication drawings and BOMs. This is
not an entry-level role .
What You’ll Do
Create
detailed shop drawings and bills of materials
using 2D AutoCAD.
Interpret
architectural and structural contract documents
to support custom fabrication projects.
Design
light mechanical assemblies
such as brackets, mounting systems, and bolted frames.
Contribute to our
3D CAD transition
(SolidWorks, OnShape, or Revit).
Follow internal
CAD standards and drawing protocols .
Coordinate with engineers, PMs, and fabricators to ensure accuracy.
Support site coordination and resolve markups or field issues.
What We’re Looking For
5–10 years experience
drafting steel structures or mechanical systems.
Strong AutoCAD 2D
drafting skills.
Familiarity with
shop practices, weld symbols, fasteners, and BOM structure .
Working knowledge of
SolidWorks, OnShape, Revit , or similar.
Mechanically inclined
with an intuitive understanding of how things are built.
Detail-oriented, reliable, and collaborative.
Experience with
BIM coordination
is a plus.
Compensation & Perks
Pay:
$33–$42/hr ($70,000–$87,000 annually), depending on experience. Higher rates available for candidates with advanced 3D CAD or industry-specific expertise.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (no routine overtime)
Paid Time Off:
19 paid days annually (vacation + holidays)
