CSI is hiring a disciplined and innovative individual for the Drafter/Designer II position.
This role focuses on leading the design of mid-sized “ETO” fabricated equipment, typically ranging from $100K to $1 million. A broad understanding of CSI’s design and manufacturing capabilities is essential for the efficient execution of these projects. The person will extract required information, analyze data, and rely on their knowledge of the equipment to generate effective designs that meet customer and CSI needs.
The position requires managing multiple projects simultaneously, organizing all design and schedule information, and completing personal and departmental tasks.
The Drafter/Designer II is responsible for effectively communicating design intent through meetings, model presentations, and detailed manufacturing drawings.

Required Experience:
Education/Training:
High school diploma or equivalent, required
Associate Degree, required
Experience:
Inventor—minimum 4 years, no older than 5 releases from current, required
Autodesk Vault—minimum 2 years, no older than 4 releases, required
AutoCAD (2D and 3D)—minimum 2 years, no older than 4 releases, required
Knowledge of sanitary process components, required
Estimating experience of custom fabricated components, preferred
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, required
Proficient in Microsoft Word, required
Epicor, required
Physical requirements include remaining stationary for 80% of the workday, close visual acuity, and operating office equipment. The role may require lifting and moving supplies up to 20 pounds.
