Position Title:
Physician – Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Glaucoma Division
Location:
Columbus, OH (OSU Wexner Medical Center & Veterans Affairs sites)
Position Overview The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek a full‑time faculty member in the Glaucoma division to provide patient care, conduct research, and deliver education. The successful candidate will work primarily in the new OSU multi‑specialty medical office buildings and surgical suites in the metro Columbus area, and will also provide coverage at the OSU Veterans Affairs site.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive clinical glaucoma patient care, including medical and surgical management.
Engage in research and scholarship, obtaining grant support and publishing results.
Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical and research settings.
Participate in faculty service, departmental committees, and professional organizations.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and curriculum development as directed by the Department Chair or Division Director.
Requirements
Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Ophthalmology and U.S. citizen.
MD or DO with completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency.
Completed glaucoma fellowship training.
Eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.
Demonstrated research productivity and commitment to education.
