Overview
Pedes Orange County's Marketing Department specializes in providing strategic healthcare marketing. We are seeking an experienced business development representative in the Orange County area. A physician liaison is responsible for building relationships between referring physicians and the specialist the physician liaison represents. As a physician liaison, your job is to bridge the gap of communication between providers by developing a strategic referral marketing plan. Physician Liaisons are responsible for streamlining the patient referral process, tracking and measuring marketing data and reports, and increasing overall revenue for the practice.
Responsibilities
Visit local referring physicians and medical practices with the goal to build lucrative referral relationships. Work with medical practice and healthcare system physicians to create effective physician referral marketing plans. Meet with local physicians, staff members, and referring practice medical staff members to build referral relationships. Report weekly to managing executives about the progress and growth strategies of the marketing. Schedule physician relations meetings between providers and healthcare professionals. Distribute the medical practice marketing collateral and patient referral materials. Represent the medical practice and physicians at local healthcare and networking events. Develop physician relations marketing reports, including tracking visits and measuring the ROI. Educate referring medical practices on the capabilities of the practice, how they can streamline the referral process, and provide top-quality care for their patients.
Experience
Minimum of 1 year of business development experience required. Minimum of 1 year outside sales experience preferred but not required. Minimum of 1 year experience in the Healthcare industry preferred but not required.
Basic Qualifications
4 year degree preferred Valid driver's license
