Responsible for design assistance of simple to moderately complex electro/mechanical component and assemblies, including creation of engineering drawings and documentation. Design assistance responsibilities may entail manufacturing fixtures, production tooling and test equipment; and may also include simple to complex RF and digital circuit layouts and documentation. Sound independent judgement and decision making. Relies on verbal and written instructions and pre-established guidelines, as well as experience and judgement to perform the required work. Works independently with little oversight from engineering or supervisor. Design and select components and define critical electro/mechanical features for new products. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High level of proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD packages required (Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor and/or SolidWorks preferred) and/or working knowledge with ECAD packages (CAM350, PADS, Altium, Xpedition). Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment including machining technology, measurement tools (micrometers and calipers), and PCB/Printed Substrate fabrication. Experience in drafting standards and industry procedures in a 2D & 3D CAD environment, including: ASME Y14.100, ASME Y14.5M-2009, ASME Y14.35M, IPC-2615, IPC-6018A, IPC-2221A, and IPC-2222. Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical manufacturing processes and equipment. Ability to perform tolerance studies on moderately complex assemblies. High level proficiency of PC skills (Microsoft Office and other iSeries/AS400, LAN programs). Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; works effectively in a team environment. Resolves or escalates issues in a timely manner; often involves supervision, program management or engineering. Actively pursues opportunities to expand job-related knowledge and effectively conveys pertinent information in a constructive manner. Self-driven, highly motivated and efficient; works independently to coordinate and support drawing support activities and may direct or lead others. Must be eligible to work on defense and satellite programs subject to ITAR regulations. Therefore, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card). Education and Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience. Associate Degree or equivalent in Electrical / Mechanical Technology required. #LI-VT1 Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies vary based on factors such as skill sets, experience, training, certifications and other business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $74,213 - $123,688. Additional compensation may include an annual or quarterly company bonus and shift premiums where applicable. Export Statement:
