The Design Consultant at Floor & Decor is responsible for engaging customers, supporting their design projects, conducting design appointments, and partnering with store leaders to maximize sales and expand the design services brand. Minimum Eligibility Requirements
1+ years of retail/customer service experience High school diploma or GED Proficient in basic mathematical skills Self-motivated with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Internal candidates must have at least 6 months with Floor & Decor Essential Functions
Greet customers and support design needs Schedule and develop clientele for design appointments Advise on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for residential and commercial projects Design and sell functional and aesthetic solutions Manage multiple projects with accuracy and communication Collaborate with store leadership to achieve sales and goals Support company initiatives and utilize design applications like Salesforce, MyProject, etc. Perform other duties as assigned Working Conditions
Limited travel by car Exposure to warehouse environment and noise Physical/Sensory Requirements
Medium work capacity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent use of hands, and ability to stand, walk, and reach. Store and Pickup Hours
Store: Mon-Fri 7AM-8PM, Sat 8AM-7PM, Sun 10AM-6PM Pickup: Mon-Fri 7AM-7PM, Sat 8AM-7PM, Sun 10AM-6PM Benefits & Rewards
