Overview Our client is seeking an organized and creative Marketing Assistant to support their Marketing Manager with projects that blend digital marketing, e-commerce coordination, and event support. This role helps keep our online product catalog accurate, assists with company events and branded materials, and supports sales teams by ensuring customers have a smooth online ordering experience.

Job Title – Marketing Assistant

Location – Portland, OR

Compensation – 50k-70k DOE

Key Responsibilities

Support planning and coordination for company events, trade shows, and customer promotions.

Manage branded merchandise – sourcing, ordering, and tracking inventory.

Help create and schedule social media posts and internal communications.

Maintain consistency in company branding across all materials.

Assist sales representatives with website navigation and ordering questions.

Gather feedback from the sales team to improve the online experience.

Help document and share updates or improvements that support the sales process.

Assist in the front‑and back‑end maintenance of the Adobe Commerce website, including product listings, imagery, content, and category structure.

Collaborate with Purchasing, IT and Marketing to ensure data from NetSuite syncs correctly to the website (pricing, stock status, item codes, and attributes).

Support testing, deployment, and quality assurance of website updates, feature rollouts, and branch‑specific configurations.

Identify and troubleshoot item configuration issues (e.g., products not visible in branch order guides or not mapped to correct locations).

Coordinate with Purchasing and Sales teams to correct mismatches between vendor data, NetSuite setup, and web display.

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in marketing, e-commerce, or digital operations (internship or entry‑level professional experience accepted).

Familiarity with Adobe Commerce (Magento) and NetSuite ERP preferred.

Basic understanding of HTML / CSS or web content management systems.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams (IT, Sales, Purchasing).

Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
