We are seeking an innovative and data-driven Senior Channel Marketer to own and accelerate our go‑to‑market strategy through distribution partners and installer networks. You’ll craft and execute marketing programs tailored to key residential channels—distribution, new home construction, utilities, solar and storage installers, HVAC and home services contractors, and electrical contractors—driving awareness, demand, network strength, sales enablement, and revenue growth.

Develop Strategy & Plan Execution

Develop and refine channel marketing plans for distribution partners (electrical, solar, HVAC) and installer networks.

Segment and prioritize target verticals: IOU/muni/co‑op utilities, custom/semi‑custom/production new home construction, solar and storage installers, HVAC/home services contractors, and electrical contractors.

Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Support to align messaging, refine value propositions.

Grow and strengthen the network of SPAN Authorized Installers across verticals, increasing installs per member and member engagement.

Embrace new or leading‑edge programs, processes, or products that positively impact the organization and its customers, including AI.

Activate and Collaborate with Partners

Develop and launch the

SPAN Accelerator

program to get new installer teams up‑to‑speed and productive in their first 90 days working closely with Sales and Business Development teams.

Create sales‑enablement toolkits: slide decks, ROI calculators, specification sheets, and sales team training materials.

Design and implement co‑marketing campaigns (email, digital ads, events, collateral) with/for distributors and installation partners.

Produce market‑specific content: case studies, white papers, application notes, video testimonials, and blog posts featuring utilities, homebuilders, and installer success stories.

Execute targeted lead‑gen programs (webinars, tradeshows, territory‑based roadshows) in collaboration with channel partners.

Create train‑the‑trainer content for distributor, installer and internal sales teams.

Build and adapt optimized campaigns for lead generation, partner microsites, and distribution catalog integrations in coordination with internal teams and agencies.

Lead with Data

Define KPIs (demand gen performance, lead pass metrics, content engagement, and more) and deliver monthly performance reports.

Participate with Sales in quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key distributors and installer network partners to optimize joint initiatives.

Effectively consider financial implications of decisions, including assessing risk and return.

Provide in‑bound feedback and insights from the field to Product and Engineering to influence the product roadmap.

Manage and improve full funnel conversion of the demand generation and lead pass programs.

Ensure all materials align with brand guidelines and technical accuracy to further strengthen the SPAN brand.

Qualifications

5+ years of B2B channel marketing experience with demonstrated expertise in a multi‑channel sales environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field.

Proven track record driving incremental revenue through a multi‑channel sales environment.

Deep understanding of target market personas and audience development, a plus for specific knowledge of SPAN customer channels.

Strong project management skills; determines the necessary processes to accomplish goals and manages multiple partner initiatives simultaneously.

Excels at simplifying technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Data‑driven mindset: comfortable with CRMs (Salesforce), marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms. Bonus points for experience implementing those tools.
