ROLE The Associate Photographer is the creative team responsible for media collection for Homes.com and Apartments.com. Using a Pro3 Matterport, a digital camera and an iPad, you will capture virtual tours, floorplans and residential photography for marketing homes and apartments. You will be assigned a core territory and set appointments to scan homes and apartments and to capture high‑quality photos.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support marketing efforts on Homes.com and Apartments.com by capturing 3‑D virtual tours and footprints.
Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments.
Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
Professionally communicate with clients, sales and research partners and management to evaluate priorities, initiatives and tasks.
Navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real‑estate data coverage when not working on a residential home.
Identify new inventory, missing availability and commercial properties to be photographed.
Abide by CoStar safety standards to safeguard company vehicle and equipment.
Represent CoStar in a professional manner at all times.
Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day.
Lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
Repetitive hand and arm movements to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment.
Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting and carrying.
Work and drive outside in all seasons.
Work weekends on a rotating schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 2 years of professional experience.
Real‑estate photography experience required.
Professional photography experience or a recent degree in photography.
FAA Part 107 Drone certification within 30 days of offer.
Strong time‑management, detail, communication and organizational skills.
Experience accurately capturing and entering data.
Proficiency with Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office and internet applications.
Enjoys working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Field experience preferred.
Current, valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
COMPENSATION Hourly plus bonus‑eligible. Bonuses are paid monthly based on performance metrics. It is an hourly position with an equivalent annual salary of $50,000–$55,000, plus a generous benefits plan.
