Job Overview AUM College of Nursing and Health Sciences department of Communication Disorders is seeking a tenure‑track faculty position to support a graduate program in speech‑language pathology. The position requires a doctorate in Speech Language Pathology, Speech and Hearing Science, or related field, with recent clinical and teaching experience preferred. Candidates must complete a research doctorate by June 1, 2025, and hold or be eligible for a CCC‑SLP license in Alabama. Responsibilities Classroom and clinical instruction in the undergraduate program in accordance with departmental needs. Develop and maintain a program of research in the candidate’s area of expertise. Participate in clinical, departmental, and university service. Demonstrate ability and potential for professional growth. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge and insights gained from exploration of their area of specialization. Ability to communicate with professional peers. Ability to perform successfully the professional duties assigned. Teaching face‑to‑face and/or online. Minimum Qualifications Doctorate degree conferred by date of hire. Preferred Qualifications Recent clinical experience and teaching experience at the graduate level.
