The Manager Paid Advertising will oversee investment and execution of digital campaign strategy within North America, with a primary focus on performance across omni‑channel digital media advertising for our brand portfolio. A Day in Life: The Manager Paid Advertising Digital Marketing is within the global Paid Media and Advertising Marketing team and will involve close collaboration with cross‑functional Hertz team members including Brand. You will support and manage the approved paid media strategy and forecast for NA advertising budgets across three brands, maintain optimal levels of media performance, identify and implement new media vendors, streamline internal processes, and disseminate results and insights across the team and organization. Note: this role requires working from our Atlanta, GA office at least 3 days per week. What You’ll Do Monitor and support the performance of media advertising plans and strategy optimization through thoughtful and actionable recommendations to support regional goals and target ROI. Leverage deep knowledge of digital media advertising channels to draw insights for optimizations. Lead end‑to‑end strategy process execution and implementation of initiatives with continuous improvement. Use expert functional knowledge to synthesize data and reporting to support forward‑looking media planning. Show expert‑level knowledge of SEM, PPC, and Display Programmatic paid conversion channel media advertising, with a proven track record of successful results. Share insights and best practices within the global media and advertising marketing team, staying current on digital marketing developments and trends. Keep up with the latest digital media advertising trends across platforms. Utilize GA4, Google Looker Studio, Tableau, and Power BI. Collaborate closely with key internal and external partners – agency of record, brand marketing, and creative services teams – to align strategies, messages, creatives, and metrics. Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for leadership, measurement, and analytics in partnership with our agency. Run campaign tests, analyze data, and leverage insights for optimization across channels, tactics, and media partners. Develop clear, insightful performance reports from our omni‑channel strategy and regularly communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and collaborators. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s in Marketing preferred or relevant area of education. 3‑5 years’ experience in Digital Media or Media Advertising Buyer/Agency experience. Moderate/Expert proficiency in media buying and planning. Strong paid advertising platform knowledge (paid search, paid social, content marketing, video, programmatic platforms – Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok). Data‑driven and skilled at analyzing media performance data and full‑funnel KPIs. Experience with Brand Lift, Search Lift, Conversion Lift, and Reach & Frequency reports is a plus. Strategic, hands‑on execution approach. Highly analytical with comfort in campaign reporting and attribution models. Extensive hands‑on digital campaign management experience and ability to produce in‑depth reports. Strong understanding of market trends, competition, and tactics. Proven ability to work under tight deadlines while keeping others on schedule. Proactive with account recommendations and industry insights. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail. Balance urgent priorities with long‑term objectives.
