Responsibilities
- Audio visual technology maintenance.
- What you will learn: Broad knowledge of audiovisual technology, basic network and PC troubleshooting, client communication in-person / over email, collaborative work environment and mentorship opportunities.
- AV Support and Troubleshooting: Assist users in connecting and configuring laptops and other AV devices in group study rooms and conference rooms; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; regularly inspect rooms for common issues.
- Surplus Assistance: Assist the surplus coordinator with inventory management via regular checks of AV closets and equipment organization; provide support during surplus equipment disposal; may require light manual labor.
- Event Support: Collaborate with event organizers to understand audio‑visual requirements and provide guidance on equipment selection and setup; assist with operation of audio‑visual equipment during events; act as point of contact for presenters and speakers; after‑hours events may require schedule flexibility.

Requirements and Preferences
- Must be actively enrolled at NCSU.
- Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds.
- Work Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
Compensation
Anticipated Hiring Range: $13.00/hour
