Audio Visual Technology Student Worker
Location: Raleigh, NC
Work Schedule: 9AM-5PM, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
Audio visual technology maintenance.
AV support and troubleshooting: Assist users in connecting and configuring laptops and other AV devices in group study rooms and conference rooms; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; regularly inspect rooms to ensure long-term functionality.
Surplus assistance: Assist the surplus coordinator with inventory management via regular checks of AV closets, support equipment organization, and disposal.
Event support: Collaborate with event organizers to understand audio-visual requirements, guide equipment selection and setup, operate AV equipment during events, and act as a point of contact for presenters; some events may be after 5 pm and may require schedule adjustments.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be actively enrolled at NC State University.
Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds.
