About the Job FFE is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our growing Cincinnati team. The Architectural Designer is responsible for creating and developing architectural designs and plans based on project specifications and requirements. This role works under close supervision on new tasks and non‑routine work, and may work independently on routine tasks, depending on level of experience. The Architectural Designer will take direction from the Project Architect or Team Lead and work closely with Project Managers and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet client needs and regulatory standards. What you’ll be responsible for Creating and developing architectural designs from initial concept to detailed design stages. Producing detailed design drawings, plans, and models using appropriate software and applications. Working with others to design, compile data, do area take‑offs, and prepare plans/renderings. Conducting material research under direction of the Project Architect. Generating concepts based on project design goals. Working with the Project Manager and other team members to ensure designs are feasible and comply with all regulations and standards. Conducting site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for design and planning. Incorporating sustainable design principles and practices into projects to promote energy efficiency and environmental responsibility. Preparing detailed construction documents, specifications, and materials lists. Here’s what you’ll need (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university. Understanding of the purpose and content of Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents. Knowledge of the design process: hand drawing, verbal, graphic presentation. Experience with Revit and AutoCAD; ability to learn other design software. Preferred experience with Adobe Creative Suite. This position’s compensation pay range is expected to be between $61,500 and $74,000 per year, depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, market factors, and business needs.
